This time it was a gift...

{ chocolate hazelnut cakey brownies }

For their cakey yet moist texture, these brownies are really easy to cut down to squares leaving clean edges, and not sticky, which makes them perfect for packing and gifting! You can load them hazelnuts and chocolate chunks to taste - sometimes, the more, the better!

Yesterday was my best friend Margarida's birthday!
Daniel gave me a ride from Oporto to Aveiro and by the time we arrived we had decided to buy her a bouquet of daisies (her name, in portuguese) and tulips. I wanted to give her something made by me anyway, and it was already decided that it would be brownies. I spent two hours running back and forth, florist, home, florist, home, pick up my brother, home, heading to the party, still I could find time to bake the gift.

brownies com pedaços de chocolate e avelã.
receita adaptada do blog de Joana Roque (aqui)

150g de manteiga
200g de chocolate de culinária
4 ovos

Pré-aquecer o forno a 180ºC.
